A summer experience for students filled with water activities, mini swimming lessons, nature adventures, fun teambuilding games and relaxing with mindfulness. Activities are designed to create a fun, uplifting environment based on respect for oneself and others, allowing students to experience a supportive community while developing skills such as:
Dates & Times: 12:30pm - 4:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays

Location: Boise Library, Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal, Quebec
Rates: 475$ (full session) 175$ (weekly) 75$ (daily drop in)

A feel good class of mindfulness practices, improv and teambuilding games, creative activities and adventures in nature to help students develop skills that reduce stress and uplift their energy such as:

Mindfulness Adventures provides students with activities where they can build empowering skills by having fun, exploring relaxing practices and creating a caring community.
Playing games that are fun, interactive and improvisational allows students to build healthy relationships with one another, connect with their creativity, express themselves clearly and boost self-confidence. Play is enjoyable and learning is most effective by having fun!
Relaxing mindfulness practices such as meditation, yoga and guided relaxation increases self-awareness and develops skills in self-care and emotional balance. The techniques are simple that students can use themselves.
Connecting with nature allows students to sense the natural peace that exists in the elements of the earth. The live energy of the plants and creatures supports our own natural energetic rhythms of balance. Nature is best natural playground!
Sharing in a caring, uplifting space expands skills in active listening and creating a sense of community.

Playventures for kids is a feel-good activity class on building empowering skills through having fun playing games and cultivating togetherness. Games such as:

~ Improvisational games
~ Creative games
~ Ridiculously fun games
~ Mindfulness games
~ Outdoor games in nature
Feeling uplifted through games and togetherness helps children develop powerful skills like self-awareness, self-confidence, team spirit, communication, self-expression, improved focus and emotional balance. They also experience the support of a positive, conscious community they take part in creating. These skills are invaluable as they positively impact all areas of life such as improved focus in school, a positive sense of self, healthier relationships and much more. They decrease stress and anxiety that unfortunately, many children are currently experiencing. Playing outside in nature is an added benefit as children experience the health benefits our natural world has to offer.
In this current world, there are many distractions where it can be easy to lose sight of what’s important. Everyone, no matter the age, deserves the opportunity to benefit from these natural, empowering life skills and Playventures aims to bring these opportunities to children in ways that are fun!
